Ed and Vicki Germann ministered at CIU for 18 years from 1982-2000. They lived on campus with their family for 16 of those years where they hosted literally thousands of students into their home on “faculty row.” A good time was had by all!

Ed held a number of positions at CIU with his role as Vice-President for Student Affair/Dean of Students being the longest and most visible. In that role, he spoke in chapel many times and was particularly known for teaching “Foundations of Christian Living” to all incoming Bible College Students as well as having the opportunity to share many of those same lessons in the Graduate School and Seminary.

This series focused on some of the pillars of living a “Victorious Christian Life.” Ed’s teaching style was somewhat unique as it combined his New York City background with the deep teachings of Robertson “Mister” McQuilkin, Dr. Johnny Miller, Dr. William “Bill” Larkin, and certainly Mr. James “Buck” Hatch along so many other icons of CIU.

Since leaving CIU, Ed has served as a Regional Field Director for International Students, Inc. (ISI) This is a missions agency that focuses on sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with international students studying at universities in the United States. Ed has served and directed over 60 missionaries/evangelists in 15 states who each, in turn, mobilize hundreds of Christians in local churches to reach out to these future leaders of the world in sharing the Love of Jesus Christ.
